Trig sponsors Innovate Carolina Conference

March 16, 2011 (DURHAM, NC)—Research Triangle,  NC innovation management firm Trig Innovation has agreed to sponsor the 2011 Innovate Carolina Conference in Charlotte, NC on April 15.

Innovate Carolina is an annual meeting hosted by the Carolinas chapter of the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA), a multi-industry trade group focused on educating product managers and developers as well as providing the development community with networking opportunities.  The theme for this year’s conference is “Open Innovation,” highlighting the process that companies follow when engaging outside consulting firms to aid them in the development of new products and services.

“Trig Innovation is proud to be a part of the sponsor group at this year’s Innovate Carolina Conference,” stated Ty Hagler, principal at the Durham, NC firm. “We’ve believe very strongly in the PDMA’s ongoing work to lift the innovation community nationwide, and we really appreciate what the Carolinas chapter does through efforts like Innovate Carolina to bring everyone in the community together. The team at Trig is excited about this year's theme of Open Innovation, a process that's pushing the design community's creative parameters to influence solutions for larger social problems and expanding sources for new ideas for companies.”

The one-day conference will take place at the Bonnie H. Cone University Center on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Registration begins at 8:30 am, and the conference will conclude with networking time ending at 6pm. For further details on registration, agenda, and speakers, go to the Innovate Carolina website.
