To Mega Therion

To Mega Therion, Greek for "The Great Beast," is the output of Tyler Viscerine. Created in late 2005, To Mega Therion combines musical elements of Dark Ambient, Power Noise, and Power Electronics. Thematically, however, the band draws its inspiration from Black Metal, incorporating "essentials" from the genre, including, but not limited to, the occult, apocalyptic despair, and the darker undersides of spirituality. To Mega Therion forges their unique sound with multiple layers of screams, growls, demonic moans, intensely crushing rhythms, and extremely dark sound-scapes, creating a new kind of music: Black Noise.

The project first emerged onto the scene with an appearance on W.A.S.T.E.'s 2006 album, This Is What We Seek, with their brilliant remix, "Psycho Killer (Inside You Mix)." The track's success speaks for itself; it has become an online bestseller, requested and played numerous times on independent radio stations, and will also be featured in the opening sequence of the upcoming horror film, Primitive Recall.

To Mega Therion's first live show was met with critical acclaim. Capturing the crowd's attention with their intense theatrical nature and the addition of live member Jesse Kincade, To Mega Therion left the audience mesmerized and cheering for more. This show also earned them their contract with Sistinas Music. Soon, To Mega Therion will be releasing their fist release, an EP entitled The Blood Rituals. In addition, a second full-length album is in the works, amply titled Black Noise.
