Sinuism in its current and definitive incarnation formed in 2002 in and around the Guildford area of the UK. The band plays heavy metal shot through with emotional and provocative lyrical content delivered with the kind of vocal performance that is both primal yet impassioned, the band was once described as sounding like “Lamb of god meeting Glassjaw in a back alley knife fight” and this couldn’t be a truer statement.
In today’s trend filled musical climate it is hard to find bands that are as honest and truly genre defining as Sinuism. On stage the band truly come alive, as front man Dave stalks the stage like a man possessed who you literally could believe would spontaneously combust such is the power of his performance, you can hear every drop of emotion ring out of every note the man screams. The band themselves are as tight as any you will find out there, it is almost like the band have formed a symbiotic connection with each other that transcends the music that they are playing.
Sinuism are a band on the rise that are still building and rightfully earning their reputation as a band to watch and within the next 12 months will be the time to keep your eyes on this band with their truly thunderous debut E.P “By all accounts” under their belts and a gig schedule that is rapidly booking itself 2008 will be the year when Sinuism deliver that tried and tested “Lighting in a bottle moment” make sure your there when it happens.
