I´m so so so sorry, I know how much you love the ads on trig and it hurts me to be the one that tells you this.
The ads are going down for a while, we have been testing the ad system and are now finished with it so all the crap ads will never be seen on trig again.
The ads will be back but, only relevant ads that are actually something you guys will find ok!

Again, so sorry for your loss...Try to be strong.

Hi People!
As most of you probably already noticed, trig has been down, there
was a massive power failure at the company where
trig's heart (servers) is stored and due to this trig.com and
hundreds of other european companies
has been suffering damages, however the trig team has spent the
last days and nights making phonecalls and working like crazy to
get Trig up‚ and running again. We are truly sorry about this
(eventhough we aren't the ones to be blamed)

Ipod situation

There´s been a problem when Apple took the nano version we had out of their sortiment.

Trig's New Look

Trig has started to get a new facelift, which you can check out on the front page and Live 'n' Direct. It'll be everywhere soon, so we hope you like it!

Not only do we have a brand new look, but you can "hit the lights" to check out a darker version. We've also decided to stream-line the signup process - you can do it all on the front page or from anywhere on the site while trigging.

In other news, Trig radio has been launched and is ready to stream to your home party
or club (if you can get through security), so feel free to pop it open
and listen to the thousands of great tracks there while you browse the
site.

Let's just say that Germany needs Tokio Hotel. How else are we going to forget that this was the country who gave us kitsch like Sandra and Boney M? All dolled up and nowhere to go?

Some people think social networking makes people stay at home, chained to their computers. I am prepared to say the opposite is true, at least after the release of our new function: events.

With events, bands can create tour schedules, party promoters invite triggers to the launch of the new Britney Spears fragrance (you might choose not to go to that one), and friends create an event as irreverent as "Starbucks 15.30?". It is up to you what an event is.

Events are mainly managed on your home page where you by now can see a tab called 'events' (no surprises there). Create an event for any one-off thing (from the release party for the new Good Charlotte album to your private birthday bash) or a tour if you actually are a band or anything similar (lecturer maybe?) and want to create a series of events in one go.

You can of course choose to attend the events you are invited to, and you can leave a comment to let everyone know how psyched you are about finally being able to see Prince live, but it is also possible to search for new events anywhere in the world. This is why I feel the age of social isolation is over. I mean, even if you are trekking to Kathmandu, you might end up seeing Nepal's hottest punk rock band!

The global events page can be found under Trig pages in the top menu and as well as searching events on certain dates and in specified cities you can see the hottest events right now, hot basically meaning the most attended, trigged and commented on events.

And finally, all the events you are going to or have created yourself will be displayed on your home page under the heading 'upcoming events'. We don't want you to forget about them, do we?

As most of you know we've had a weekly contest for an engraved Trig iPod, also known as 'the holy Grail of Trig'. At the same time, bands have been competing to become featured on the home page of all triggers.

Maybe we given away enough iPods now, don't you think? So all you people who have not won an iPod yet, this week's round is the last one. I repeat: this week is your last chance to win an iPod.
