HARDFACED

HARDFACED was formed in late 2003 in Ohrid, Macedonia. During the ‘04 band spend time for rehearsing, making songs, doing a lot of gigs in our town and passed through few line-up changes. The year ‘05 was a turning point for HARDFACED. With that line up: Dime – vocals, Klimo – vocals, Goran – guitars, Jovan – guitars, Igor – bass and Bojan – drums we won the Rock Fest ’05, had a great show on Loser Fest ‘05 and took part in some of the best shows around Macedonia and shared stages with many bands from our country and Balkan area. In summer 2005 we entered the studio to record our debut full-length album called “More Than Hate”. 2006 was a hard period for us. We have problems with finishing and releasing our album. Finally “More Than Hate” was self-realised in February 2007. Style that we play can be described as fast, aggressive, powerful hardcore with a lot of metal influences. Mainly our lyrics express our personal views of life. After realising “More Than Hate” we continued to promote our record around Macedonia, some local festivals and shows. In october 2007 one song from our record took part on “A Call For Unity” compilation of Balkan hardcore bands realised by “Fight For” from Belgrade and Hardfaced were called to play on the same festival in Belgrade. In the december same year, “Years Of Pain” the bulgarian label realised our record and Hardfaced were invited to play with Romeo Must Die (UK) in Sofia and that was a chance to promote our music on the Bulgarian scene. Right now HF are working on a second record called “Show Them What They Fear, that will be recorded in Juni and realised in the beggining of 2009. With a new record, dedicated line up, HARDFACED will push on harder in 2008. IT’S TIME TO LEARN HOW TO VALUE THINGS IN LIFE!!!
