anonymi is a primarily digital artist, but also an adept instrumentalist and percussionist, he was a founder member of the briefly legendary but now sadly dispersed Weird Attractors. His music mashes up global folk styles with polyrhythmic breakbeat/drum'n'bass, rich orchestral harmonies and stupid bass.
anonymi tunes have been commissioned for local and international circus / dance performances as well as being heard in clubs and festivals. He has worked particularly with Canopy Trapeze (Georgia, USA),
tePOOKa (Scotland) and recently with NVA (Scotland). He has produced two full length CD collections. The Voice From Nowhere (2001-2002) and Song of the Liondog (2003) are now only available by direct email enquiry. anonymi has produced remixes for U.S. fiddler Andrew Heaton (Packway Handle Band, forthcoming release) and the Weird Attractors (
Earshot Recordings). His Aurora/Venturi tracks formed the debut 2006 release for Digibeats Music, but the other tracks from the past year are looking for a new home, since the Neon-Wave label folded.
